Our Story

Petra Crimmel was the head founder of Aspen.Tennis, she was from Croatia, and lived in Aspen from 2001 till her passing in August of 2024. She was tennis and loved the valley she called home. After years of working in almost every club in town in 2020 she was given the opportunity to take over the club we now call home. For 4 years she built this community as an extension of the years of contacts, experiences, and growth she had already developed as a local coach, and was able to give all the lives she changed a real place to call home with their tennis. Since her passing in 2024 from Stage 4 Breast Cancer we, her family, have kept her spirit alive in the courts, the people, the laughs and the stories. We are a small family owned club with the intention to share her love and passion for tennis, learning and community with everyone who comes through our door. Whether its for camp, lessons, clinics or even to hit with a friend we always strive to make your experience as amazing as possible and open our doors for you to call this place your "home away from home!"
